My Beef with Disney

You would think that a company dedicated to making movies for children would be a little more mindful of how they named the characters in their movies. But no, they make a fantastic movie, that most children love and adore, and give the main character a name that has other non-G-rated meanings. And so it leads to this:

Me: "It was really nice to meet you, have a great day"

New Lady I've never met before: "Yeah, nice to meet you too, your boys are adorable"

Beckam: "Wanna see my Woody?"

At first I was smiling and thinking "oh Beckam is so cute, being friendly and outgoing", then I looked at the lady, and realized what she was probably thinking. Unfortunately he didn't even have his Woody doll to show her. I had to quickly explain he meant Woody and Buzz from Toy Story. Then she smiled and laughed, luckily she had a young child too, so she understood. But I looked like some pervert parent for a few seconds.

Really, couldn't they have come up with a better name???

So funny! I knew kids were funny, but I had no idea how frequently they would embarrass us.

I loved this it is so true. Kids will say things so innocently. You really have to listen to what they are saying to others.
