Last weekend Robert went deep-sea fishing with two of his brothers and his Dad. They caught halibut and Ling cod. The biggest fish they caught was 70 lbs. Can you believe how big and ugly the halibut are??? (keep in mind that he is 6'6) But they sure are tasty :)
While he was doing that, the boys and I were doing this:
I will actually miss life in the ghetto, my neighbor bought some plastic from home depot, used a couple of screwdrivers to hold it in place, and got the hose, the boys had a blast!
It was nice to actually experience some warm weather last weekend...too bad it didn't last!!!

Next time you (or your neighbors) get out the slip and slide, call me!!
I had NO IDEA halibut were that big! I've been deep sea fishing twice and no one on our boat ever caught anything except for motion sickness...
There are so many simple joys in ghetto living. When we finally move, I hope our new neighbors won't mind the four tires we keep stacked on our front porch.
I LOVE the slip-n-slide!! Is your freezer 100% fish right now? ;)
Those fish are HUGE! (and they are making my mouth water...kind of gross, I know!)
I remember my days of "slip 'n slidin'." It looks like you guys had a blast!
Did you go on it? I want to see that picture! The boys look like they are having a blast. How did their hair turn out? Those halibuts are HUGE! Wow, it does make me salivate thinking about eating them, even though the pictures are a bit icky.
the slip and slide looks like fun. We just have the standard, on flat lawn, my kids would go wild with a hill like that. Those fish are huge, so how do they fit in your freezer? When are you guys moving? Excited? Nervous?
oh my gosh those fish are HUGE!!!
Didn't either you or Abby have a camera on your trip to Sin City? I have been waiting for you to dish on your trip. Since we aren't next door anymore, this is all I have!! :-) Are you guys surviving the heat over there?
