I know the economy is bad, but maybe everyone just has a few dollars to spare so I can have the object of my desire:
These beauties are the sandals Kyra Sedgwick wears in a Trop 50 commercial. I actually started drooling when I was watching the commercial, and it had NOTHING to do with the orange juice. I desperately hoped that maybe Tropicana would be frugal in the celebrity wardrobe department, and that maybe they would be in my price range. Turns out I was wrong. They are Martin Margiela sandals and cost
$658.00. Not
exactly what I was hoping to spend. Just a few hundred dollars off, ok about six hundred off. For $658 dollars I'd have to have these permanently attached to my feet, and sign a contract not to ever buy another pair of shoes in order for my husband to support me with this purchase. Unfortunately they don't look like they'd be comfortable for running, so that's out of the question. I've looked for a less expensive version, but can't find anything remotely as cool as these. But maybe if I put my hopes and dreams out there in the universe I will somehow find a way to get them!

These are kind of like the shoes SJP wore on a certain show we watched together...wink wink. I searched and found a cheap version of them almost a year later. So give it a few months and I'm sure all of your wildest shoe dreams will come true. What will I do when that sequel comes out...I'll have to wait till you come home or better yet I'll come watch it in Japan with you.

ooohhh! i adore them as well. i will be on the lookout for a knock-off. or if i see someone wearing them, i will steal them for you...unless they are in my size.:)
