Why I'll never think too highly of myself

The other day I had the boys watch the movie Mulan when we were returning from North Carolina. We made a stop and when we got back in the car Beckam said “Mulan turned into a guy.” I kind of laughed (thinking great, why did I have them watch a movie about cross-dressing?), then I said “No she’s just pretending to be a guy.” Rylan said “Oh, are you pretending to be a guy?” “NO!” then he said “Are you pretending to be a girl?” "um, no, but thanks for that."

I love my boys, they are constantly entertaining!
Here they are buried at the Outer Banks, NC

Kids and mothers always know JUST the right thing to say. Of late, Lucy has been poking my stomach and saying, "So squishy!" Your story made me laugh out loud (I know, "lol," but I just can't bring myself to type that).

The "Outer Banks" sounds like some posh beach that no one who makes less than a bajillion dollars even knows about. It's beautiful, is it in Virginia? You have the cutest kids!!! So far it sounds like they are the only boys who could keep up with Belize so I will definitely keep them on my suitors list (I secretly hope she'll hate boys). :)

I love that picture of them buried in the sand...do they love dirt like their Mom? Mmmmm, dirt. Did you have Bob bury you as well? I always thought it'd be fun to be buried until I realized that getting sand stuck in every body crevice is really not worth it.
